Our Sister Site
Our sister site, RadicalRC.com, prides itself on being at the forefront of the electric Radio Control revolution. Its proprietary product lines and specialty items make it the go-to site for builders and modifiers. All Radical RC proprietary products are “Made In the USA.”
Some of the item links will take you to the Radical RC site. If you select an item to purchase while at Radical RC, the purchase will be made at Radical RC, even though you may have an order started at RC Hobby Center. At this time, the two sites can not share the same Shopping Cart. We are working on making it possible.
Placing An Order
Currently, you can shop our web store or order by phone, e-mail, or US mail. Our preferred payment is PayPal. However, we accept Visa, MasterCard, money orders, and cashier’s checks. Cashier’s checks must clear 15 business days before the item is shipped. We currently do not offer C.O.D.
Shipping An Order
We use UPS, FedEx, and the United States Postal Service. All internet orders will generally ship within 48 hours. Standard shipping generally takes 2-4 business days after pick-up. Next-day or express shipping is available for an additional charge. Orders over $100 will require a signature for delivery.
Shipping Rates
Our standard shipping fee is $8.95 for orders shipped within the continental United States. Alaska and Hawaii orders are shipped for an additional cost using a UPS blue label. Orders over $200.00 (merchandise only) may have the shipping costs waived. Heavy or oversized boxes may incur additional charges.
Ordering Outside The United States
Currently, we ship only within the United States and to US military bases abroad. However, if you require an item from us, please contact us, and we will try to make special arrangements with you.
Returns Or Exchanges
RC Hobby Center Inc. We accept returns on new merchandise within 7 days of the shipped date. All returns or exchanges must have the Return Material Authorization (RMA) number printed outside the box. To obtain an RMA number, don’t hesitate to contact us. We cannot accept returns or exchanges without an RMA number. Please enclose your Invoice/Packing List with your returned items. We do not accept merchandise sent back C.O.D.
Returns:
Returned merchandise must be in unused condition and in its original packaging. Mounting engines and accessories, running fuel through engines, cutting or pushing out the balsa sheets in kits, and other similar actions constitute used merchandise and cannot be returned. Radios must be returned with unmounted servos and switch harnesses.
When packing your order for return, please be sure all the original packing material and instruction papers and/or manuals are included. We cannot process your return if parts are missing and items are not packed properly to avoid damaging products and their boxes and/or packages. ARF kits are specially packaged to ensure safe shipping of all contents. To receive credit for a returned ARF, the contents must be returned in the original plastic covers and arranged in a manner that will not damage the contents or packaging.
Exchanges:
If you are requesting another item in exchange for returned merchandise, and if that item is a different price, please indicate how you wish to pay or be credited for the difference. (Check, MasterCard, Visa, or in-house credit)
Defects In An Item: We deal with only the most reputable and reliable manufacturers in the hobby industry. This greatly limits the probability of defective merchandise. However, things do happen. Therefore, Before Use: If you find an item defective directly out of the box (without use), contact us as soon as possible. All claims must be considered within 7 days of the shipped date. Please note that many manufacturers require problems handled directly, particularly with electronic equipment and engines. After Use: Defects found after the product is in use usually fall under the manufacturer’s warranty. Service claims are handled between you and the manufacturer. If you need help contacting the manufacturer, please call; we will gladly assist you.
Damaged Packages During Shipping: If a package has been damaged in shipping, and it is apparent when it arrives at your door, Please REFUSE the delivery. If you have already accepted a package and discovered it has been damaged, save all the paperwork and packing material with the damaged goods. If your package was sent via U.S. Mail Parcel Post, contact the Post Office, and they will give you further instructions. Call your local UPS or FedEx office if your package was shipped via UPS or FedEx.
Usage And Liability:
We cannot accept responsibility for injury, crash damage, or loss of kits, engines, accessories, parts, and materials when using any radio-controlled model. Each user shall determine the product’s suitability for his or her intended use and shall assume all risk and liability in connection therewith.
If you substitute or replace normal kit hardware and/or radio components with after-market accessories, RC Hobby Center or manufacturers cannot be held responsible for problems or equipment failure caused by incompatibility or modifications.
Price And/Or Description Changes
All prices, pictures, and descriptions on this site and all other RC Hobby Center publications are subject to change. RC Hobby Center maintains no responsibility for inadvertent errors. RC Hobby Center reserves the right to cancel or refuse orders at its sole discretion if there are typographical errors on our site or in our publications. Don’t hesitate to contact us within 10 days of the shipped date regarding price or promotion discrepancies.
